Abstract
A lithium ion battery comprising a positive electrode a negative electrode and a separator for retaining an electrolyte, characterized in that as an adhesive for bonding said positive electrode to said separator and said negative electrode to said separator there is used a thermosetting adhesive comprising a mixture of at least one organic vinyl compound containing two or more vinyl groups per molecule, a reaction catalyst and a volatile organic solvent.
