Abstract
There is provided a spread illuminating apparatus in which transmission efficiency of light is enhanced and in which a good liquid crystal display screen is provided. Thus, an exit surface ( ) of the light conductive member ( ) does not overlap the reflection preventive film ( ), and a good display can be realized on the liquid crystal screen. Further, the exit surface ( ) of the light conductive member ( ) and an incident surface ( ) of the transparent substrate ( ) can be fixedly held at the same height position, and thus light can be transmitted efficiently.
