Abstract

A drawer ( ) for a server system rack ( ) includes a tray ( ) and an electronic switch ( ). The tray ( ) and the electronic switch ( ) are secured to the rack ( ) by mounting rails ( ), which are secured to the rack ( ) by mounting brackets ( ) having toolless fasteners ( ). Telescoping slide assemblies ( ) secure the tray ( ) to the mounting rails ( ) for moving from a position disposed within the rack ( ) to a position extending outward of the rack ( ). A keyboard ( ) and a display ( ) are mounted to the tray ( ). The electronic switch ( ) is mounted rearward of the tray ( ), and remains stationary with respect to the rack ( ). A flexible cable management arm ( ) extends between the tray ( ) and the electronic switch ( ) for securing cabling ( ).
