Abstract

The present invention relates to a stable water-in-oil emulsion for cosmetic, pharmaceutical or hygiene use, comprising an aqueous phase and a fatty phase comprising a silicone oil, characterized in that it comprises at least one &agr;,&ohgr;-substituted oxyalkylenated silicone, the emulsion having a viscosity ranging from 100 cps to 200 poises, at 25° C. and at a shear rate of 200 s . The invention also relates to the compositions comprising such an emulsion, and to its applications in the cosmetics field.
