Abstract
A safety device for application in pistols, which basically comprises a cylinder provided on the outer portion thereof with a helical channel, and on the upper portion thereof with a recess for the end of a key and centrally with a through hole which, in the unlocked position of pistol, is aligned with the course of stem of master spring. Such device prevents the pistol from being cocked when the safety device is in the locked position.
