Abstract
A device for the measurement of the moisture of harvested crop including a measurement capacitor ( ) with two spaced electrodes ( ), between which harvested crop can be introduced. The capacitor ( ) is connected to an inductance ( ) of a resonance circuit ( ). For improved precision, it is proposed that the resonance circuit ( ) be supplied with a measurement signal in the form of an alternating voltage with variable frequency and that a parameter of the resonance circuit ( ), preferably resonant frequency dependent upon the capacitance of the capacitor ( ), be detected at various frequencies and used for the determination of the moisture.
