Abstract
Unsaturated compounds in hydrocarbon streams are hydrogenated over a catalyst which, in the unused state, shows reflections which correspond to the following lattice plane spacings in the X-ray diffraction pattern [in 10 m]: 4.52, 2.85, 2.73, 2.44, 2.31, 2.26, 2.02, 1.91, 1.80, 1.54, 1.51, 1.49, 1.45 and 1.39 and have specific relative intensities.
