Abstract
There is disclosed a method for preparing a magnetic head having a high-speed magnetic recording ability. A resist insulating layer is formed on a coil, a magnetic pole layer is formed on the resist insulating layer and a laminate including the resist insulating layer and the magnetic pole layer is heated so that the resist insulating layer is allowed to shrink.
