Abstract
An air filter housing ( ) includes twist and lock structure ( ) having a first position (FIGS. ) permitting axial movement ( ) of a cover ( ) and base ( ) relative to each other, and being rotatable in a first direction ( ) from the first position (FIG. ) to the second position (FIG. ), and in the second position (FIG. ) preventing axial movement of the base ( ) and cover ( ) relative to each other, and being rotatable in a second opposite direction ( ) from the second position (FIG. ) to the first position (FIG. ). Anti-rotation lock structure ( ) provides a rotational retention force holding the twist and lock structure ( ) in the second position (FIG. ).
