Abstract
There is provided an air conditioner for a vehicle, which comprises a refrigerating cycle having a compressor ( ), a water cooling cycle formed by a radiator ( ) and a heat storage tank ( ), which are switched by passage switching valves ( ) and ( ), and a water heating cycle formed by a heater core ( ) and the heat storage tank ( ). As a result, when an engine is being driven, heat for cooling or heating is stored in the heat storage tank ( ) by the water cooling cycle or the water heating cycle, and when an engine ( ) is in a stopped state, the heat stored in the heat storage tank ( ) is used to allow cooling or heating
