Abstract

In order to give a physician easy access to a patient placed in an interjacent space within a vertical magnet apparatus of a vertical magnet-type MRI apparatus, support and movement mechanisms are provided on respective opposing surface sides of a pair of vertical opposing magnets for supporting a cradle or a seat of a chair on belts and moving the cradle or the seat in the horizontal direction by motors and in the vertical direction by hydraulic cylinders
