Abstract

A chip card reader which includes a housing consisting of a base ( ) and a cover ( ). An insulating frame ( ) is provided, which supports electric contacts connected, on the one hand, to a printed board ( ) on which electronic data processing components are mounted and, on the other hand, to a universal USB socket, snapped at the end of the housing.
