Abstract

The present invention relates to an aqueous, liquid hard surface detergent composition having excellent surface lubricity and filming/streaking characteristics. Said composition comprises less than about 1%, by weight of the composition, of surfactant to provide lubricity, preferably straight chain alkyl sulfate wherein at least about 30%, preferably wherein more than about 50%, of said surfactant, by weight, has a C or C chain length or mixtures thereof; hydrophobic cleaning solvent; an optional substantive material that increases the hydrophilicity of the glass; and preferred low level of alkaline buffering agent to provide composition stability on storage and alkalinity, without diminishing the lubricity.
