Abstract
A reversible nozzle ( ), removably attached to a fluid emitting base, such as a half turbine casing ( ). The reversible nozzle ( ) has a nozzle body ( ) and a nozzle tube ( ), with the nozzle body ( ) preferably forming a plurality of fastener receiving slots ( ). The nozzle tube ( ) is angled with respect to the nozzle body ( ). An installed reversible nozzle ( ) is reversed by removing fasteners ( ) connecting the nozzle body ( ) to the fluid emitting base ( ), rotating the nozzle body ( ) about a normal nozzle body axis X, and resecuring the reversible nozzle ( ) to the fluid emitting base ( ) with fasteners ( ). To aid in the alignment of the reversible nozzle ( ), one fastener receiving slot ( ) is preferably elongated.
