Abstract
The invention relates to the method of preventing and treating sepsis using chemokines selected from mature or modified KC [SEQ ID NO: 1], gro&agr;[SEQ ID NO:2], gro&bgr;[SEQ ID NO: 3] or gro&ggr;[SEQ ID NO: 4] or multimers thereof, alone or in conjunction with an anti-infective agent. This invention also relates to a new gro&bgr; dimer chemokine.
