Abstract
A CPU socket assembly ( ) is to be appropriately mounted a circuit board by a vacuum suction device and includes a CPU socket ( ) and a pick up cap ( ) to be horizontally attached to the CPU socket. The pick up cap is horizontally assembled with the cover and forms in a bottom face thereof an embossment ( ) and a pair of latching arms ( ) corresponding to the recesses, respectively. The embossment is firstly latched with a corresponding recess and the latching arms are then fitted with the other corresponding recesses of the cover, thereby reliably attaching the pick up cap to the cover.
