Abstract

A method and an apparatus for operating a magnetically levitated magnet vehicle ( ) are described, with a synchronous long stator linear motor, which comprises a plurality of winding sections ( ) arranged one after the other in the direction of travel (x) and connected one after the other to a track cable ( ) in accordance with the progress of the magnet vehicle ( ).
