Abstract
Topically applicable, water-resistant cosmetic/dermatological emulsions well suited for the UV-photoprotection of human skin and/or hair contain an effective UV-photoprotecting amount of at least one micronized organic UV-screening agent insoluble therein, the mean particle size of such micronized particles ranging from 0.01 to 2 &mgr;m, and further containing at least one associative polymer which is characteristically other than a C -C alkyl polyglucoside.
