Abstract

A card is supported in the connector so that the partition walls of the card fit between the contact supports each made up of paired raised portions formed on the upper surface of the base plate of the connector housing. This construction realizes a reduction in the height of the connector that receives a card which has contact pads arranged in recessed portions separated from one another by partition walls.
