Abstract
The present invention relates to an image display panel ( ) having a substrate ( ) having at least one channel ( ) comprising an ionizable gas mixture ( ). The walls of the channels are provided with electrodes ( ) for selectively ionizing the ionizable gas mixture during operation. The display panel is provided with an exhaust box ( ) and an exhaust tube ( ) which are formed in one piece. The exhaust box ( ) and exhaust tube ( ) are provided at the back of the substrate ( ) and extend in a plane parallel to the plane of the display panel.
