Abstract
Nematode-inducible promoter sequences are disclosed. These sequences can be used for expressing DNA sequences in plant cells. Chimeric DNA constructs comprising the nematode-inducible promoter sequences operably linked to DNA to be expressed in plant cells are also disclosed. Plants comprising the chimeric DNA are provided.
