Abstract

The invention relates to the combination of an air filter and a membrane carburetor ( ). The membrane carburetor ( ) has an intake channel section ( ) configured in the carburetor housing ( ) into which the fuel-conducting channels ( ) open which are fed from a control chamber ( ) of the carburetor housing ( ). The control chamber ( ) is separated by a control membrane ( ) from the compensation chamber ( ). A compensation channel ( ) leads from the compensation chamber ( ) into a flow space ( ). A connecting piece ( ) is led into the flow space ( ) as a connection of the intake channel section ( ) of the membrane carburetor ( ) with the flow space ( ). The compensation channel ( ) and the connecting piece ( ) open into the housing ( ) on the clean air side ( ). The housing ( ) forms the flow space ( ). The compensation channel ( ) is guided into the housing ( ) via a segment ( ) in the connecting piece ( ) to provide a simpler assembly and constructive configuration of the compensation connection. The opening ( ) of the compensation channel ( ) defines a first plane ( ). The opening ( ) of the connecting piece ( ) defines a second plane ( ). The planes ( ) are separated from each other and these planes preferably intersect.
