Abstract

A battery connection plate a manufacturing method therefor is provided. A terminal ( ) and a busbar ( ) are insert-molded in the plate body ( ). The terminal ( ) is screw-connected to an electrode of a battery with a nut. The terminal ( ) is provided with a hole portion and a projecting portion having an opening communicating with the hole portion, and the opening faces in the screwing direction of the nut. Otherwise, the plate body ( ) is provided with a pin portion and projections arranged on both sides of the pin portion, and the terminal is provided with a through hole for the pin portion. The projections are positioned adjacently to both sides of the terminal, and the terminal is secured to the plate body ( ) by melting the pin portion and the projections and by transforming them. The terminal body is formed integrally with the busbar ( ) with use of a metal sheet, and the busbar ( ) is formed by double-folding back the metal sheet, wherein the terminal body is connected to the busbar through a narrow portion. The plate body ( ) is provided with a pair of guide walls ( ) having respective slit-like insertion-fixing portions ( ) to receive the electric wire connected to the terminal ( ), and a groove portion ( ) for arranging the electric wires is formed between the guide walls.
