Abstract

The invention relates to a device for cooling a vehicle interior with a secondary circuit ( ) for transferring the cold produced in an evaporator ( ) of a primary refrigerating circuit ( ) of a refrigerating unit ( ) by means of a refrigerating medium to at least one heat transfer device ( ) for cooling the air to be fed into the vehicle interior, the secondary circuit ( ) having a main circuit ( ) and an auxiliary circuit ( ) containing the heat transfer device ( ), which are coupled by a four-way valve ( ), by means of which an adjustable proportion of the flow of refrigerating medium can be diverted from the main circuit ( ) and fed into the auxiliary circuit ( ). In order to provide an improved device for cooling, in particular one that can be produced at a more reasonable cost, it is proposed that an inner heat exchanger ( ) should be provided in the auxiliary circuit ( ), allowing heat exchange to take place between a feed ( ) and a return ( ). This makes it possible to dispense with the use of a circulation pump in the auxiliary circuit.
