Abstract

A high-sensitivity magnetic sensor capable of detecting a nonequilibrium spin, uses an almost-spin-polarized ferromagnetic oxide in a high-quality trilayer arrangement including an intermediate layer made of a conductive nonmagnetic oxide not reacting with a ferromagnetic metallic oxide and having a lattice matching between a spin injection layer and a spin detection layer.
