Abstract
A method of transfer printing for increasing the reproducibility in achieving high-precision, high-brilliance transfer prints by controlling the print density of yellow sublimate ink on the transfer material within a specified range of yellow density. The invention has application in transfer printing methods where a digitized image is produced on a transfer material by printing the image from a PC by a ink jet printer using sublimate ink. The printed image on the transfer material is transferred to a print medium by heat processing. The other colors of the image are adjusted based upon the print density of yellow sublimate ink falling within the specified range.
