Abstract
To provide an intermediate medium capable of forming an image without gloss and also to provide an image forming device including the intermediate medium. The transfer belt is produced from polyimide by molding techniques using a mold having a surface roughness Rz of between 5 &mgr;m and 50 &mgr;m. Therefore, the transfer belt produced in this manner also has surface roughness Rz of between 5 &mgr;m and 50 &mgr;m. An ink image is first formed onto the transfer belt , and then, transferred onto a recording sheet S by application of heat and pressure. In this way, an ink image without gloss can be obtained.
