Abstract
A shielding terminal includes an inner terminal to be connected with a core , an outer terminal to be connected with a braided wire , a dielectric element for insulating the two terminals and from each other, and a cover to be mounted on an upper portion of the outer terminal . After the core is fastened to an inner fastening portion of the inner terminal outside the outer terminal , the inner terminal is inserted into the dielectric element . An outer fastening portion of the outer terminal is crimped into connection with a section A of the braided wire folded back around an end of a sheath . In the center of the outer terminal , the upper surface is opened to provide an open space A. The fastened portion of the core is covered on four sides by mounting the cover to cover the open space A.
