Abstract

In this ball joint the centers (B, C) of the director lines ( ) of the two grooves ( ) in each of said axial half-planes, in the aligned position of the joint, being offset axially and symmetrically relative to the transverse diametral plane (P) of the joint and radially by the same distance (d ) relative to the central axis (X—X, Y—Y) of the joint on the side opposite the grooves, with a radial offset from approximately 15% to approximately 25% of the pitch circle diameter of the joint.
