Abstract
An ink jet head mounted on a carriage in an ink jet recording apparatus according to the present invention performs a shuttling operation under the guidance of a carriage shaft . A high voltage of about −2 KV is applied between an opposite electrode and the ink jet head by a power source . An ink droplet is ejected from the ink jet head slantwise with respect to the opposite electrode , thus reducing a deviation between impact positions of large and small droplets.
