Abstract
The present invention relates to a small microstrip antenna device, mountable inside a hand-held radio communication device, for receiving and transmitting RF signals in one or more frequency bands. The microstrip antenna comprises a ground plane means ( ), at least a first feeding means ( ) and N radiating elements where N is an integer greater than zero. The microstrip antenna structure also has a first conductive path ( ). The feeding means is arranged on the first patch for feeding radio frequency signals to the N radiating elements, wherein at least a first of the N radiating elements has a second patch ( ).
