Abstract
A container ( ) for a hypodermic syringe ( ) and of the type which allows it to be seen or observed in another manner that the container has been opened. The container ( ) comprises a plug ( ) having more than one tamper-proof mechanism. This ensures both that the hypodermic syringe ( ) can reach the user in a state which allows it to be seen whether it has been opened, and that, after use, it can be disposed of in such a state that re-use is impeded considerably.
