Abstract

A fuel pressure sensor which receives air from an intake manifold and fuel from a fuel rail and which uses the received air and fuel to measure the fuel pressure within the fuel rail . The fuel pressure sensor further including a semi-permeable membrane or member which allows the air to pass into the fuel pressure sensor while concomitantly preventing the fuel from passing into the intake manifold
