Abstract
A golf club fitting device ( ) is disclosed herein. The fitting device ( ) includes a club head ( ) with an internal hosel ( ) that has a bore ( ) that extends from a crown opening ( ) to a sole opening ( ). A removable insert ( ) is disposed within the internal hosel ( ), and a shaft ( ) is disposed within a chamber ( ) of the removable insert ( ). The removable insert ( ) has an annular indentation ( ) for engagement with a locking member ( ), and a plurality of recesses ( ) for engagement with a rotation detent ( ). The chamber ( ) is disposed at a predetermined angle within the removable insert ( ) to define a face angle of the golf club fitting device ( ). The removable insert ( ) is capable of rotation within the bore ( ) of the internal hosel ( ) to adjust the face angle of the fitting device ( ). Further, the removable insert ( ) and shaft ( ) are easily removed from the club head ( ) and substituted therefor.
