A card casting machine casts or throws a card B into a case such as an optical disk case, having a pair of case bodies and openable via a hinge The card casting machine includes a case closing device to close the case from an open condition by lifting both case bodies and of the case placed on a support table and a card casting device to cast the card B into the case during the closing operation when an open angle &agr; of the case is an acute angle.
