Abstract
A photocatalyst is provided consisting of TiO doped with at least one lanthanide metal oxide. The photocatalyst may be prepared by forming a titanium-containing gel and then drying the gel and subjecting it to calcinations. The photocatalyst may be used in photodegradation of organic material.
