Abstract
Novel thio phenol compounds bearing heterocyclic groups as the substituent, useful as intermediates for the preparation of agricultural chemicals, particularly herbicides; intermediates for the preparation of the same; and processes for the preparation of both as represented by reaction formula (I), herein R is C -C alkyl; R is hydrogen or C -C alkyl; R is hydrogen cyano, amido, C -C alkylcarbonyl or C -C alkoxycarbonyl; R is C -C alkyl; and Q is isoxazolyl or the like.
