Abstract

A drum brake device in which the brake shoe return smoothly when releasing the parking brake on a slope. The points of the circumferential edges of the linings of the brake shoes at the service brake actuator side are located on the normal radial line B passed through the point of abutment of shoe clearance adjustment device with the brake shoes and the brake center or are located closer to the anchor than the line B.
