A coaxial high-frequency cable is described which having an inner conductor ( ), a dielectric spacer ( ) surrounding the inner conductor ( ), and a tubular outer conductor ( ) which is applied over the dielectric ( ) and which is concentric with the inner conductor ( ). To ensure operability in the event of a fire, the spacer is constructed from a combination of an insulating thermoplastic material and a mineral material.
