Abstract
A radio system has a transmitting circuit for tuning in a transmitting frequency at a desired frequency, a control circuit for performing control of the whole of the radio system, a clock oscillation circuit operative to generate a reference clock for the control circuit, a memory circuit operative to store conditions for switching the oscillation frequency of the reference clock to be generated by the clock oscillation circuit, a comparative arithmetic circuit for comparing a transmitting frequency tuned in by the transmitting circuit with the conditions stored in the memory circuit, and a frequency switching circuit for switching the oscillation frequency of the reference clock to be generated by the clock oscillation circuit, on the basis of a result of comparison by the comparative arithmetic circuit. The oscillation frequency of the reference clock to be generated by the clock oscillation circuit is switched by controlling the frequency switching circuit on the basis of a result of comparison by the comparative arithmetic circuit.
