Abstract
A light-emission control apparatus comprising a light-receiving element an A/D converting section an integrating section a comparing section and a control section The light-receiving element outputs a light-reception signal corresponding to an amount of light it has received. The A/D converting section 6 converts the light-reception signal to digital data. The integrating section integrates the digital data, generating an integrated value. The comparing section compares the integrated value with a predetermined threshold value. The control means outputs a light-emission stop request to a light-emitting device thereby causing the device to stop emitting light, when the integrated value reaches the predetermined threshold value.
