Abstract
A connecting plug ( ) for a bipolar coagulation instrument having an insulating body ( ) for mechanically combining and electrically separating and insulating both of its blades ( ) or electrical connecting lugs is provided. The blades ( ) have holes ( ) in the interior of the insulating body ( ) at a point at which the insulating body ( ) itself has holes ( ), the holes ( ) in the insulating body ( ) and the holes ( ) in the blades ( ) lying superimposed in each case so that anchoring elements ( ) can in each case jointly penetrate these holes ( ) and can thus immobilize the blades ( ) against shifting in their openings ( ) in insulating body ( ). In this way, a mechanical securing of the blades is obtained. Both holes ( ) in the insulating body ( ) can be blind holes and end at a distance from each other, which combines good positive mechanical immobilization of the blades ( ) with an improved insulating effect.
