Abstract
Frame grounding fixtures (plug connector fixtures) are provided at the longitudinal ends of the plug housing for mounting the plug connector half on a printed circuit board K , and receptacle connector fixtures are provided at the longitudinal ends of the receptacle housing for mounting the receptacle connector half on a printed circuit board K . When the plug and receptacle connector halves and are intermated, the frame grounding fixtures are brought into contact with the receptacle connector fixtures because the contact surfaces of the frame grounding fixtures are provided in the same planes as the inner surfaces of the plug housing , and the contact surfaces of the receptacle connector fixtures are provided in the same plane as the outer surfaces of the receptacle housing
