Abstract

A cutter shaft provided with a cutter as its lower tip is freely vertically movably disposed in a guide cylinder portion of a cutter holder A horizontal support body is supported in a hollow case portion A large diameter first steel ball and a small diameter second steel ball are supported in the horizontal support body separated by a suitable distance. The horizontal support body supports the steel balls exposed from a lower end of the horizontal support body but in a manner that prevents the steel balls from falling out of the horizontal support body A cover body is fixed on the upper surface of the horizontal support body to prevent the first and second steel balls from moving in a vertical direction. The side edges of the horizontal support body protrude from guide grooves formed inside surfaces of the hollow case portion An adjustment screw screwingly engaged in a lid portion presses downward on the cover body On the other hand, resilient plate springs extending downward from the cover body urge the cover body upward.
