Abstract
In connection with this ammunition-feeding device, an axial transport device ( ) with a conveyor chain ( ) is provided between a conveyor ( ) and a transfer station ( ) for transferring cartridges ( ) to a revolver drum ( ) of a revolver cannon, by means of which the cartridges ( ) are displaced in their longitudinal direction during transport vertically in respect to the movement direction of the conveyor chain ( ). A buffer shaft ( ) is provided for driving the conveyor chain ( ), wherein the drive by means of the buffer shaft ( ) takes place in such a way that, prior to being transferred to the transfer station ( ), the cartridges ( ) are brought into a buffer position.
