Abstract
The probe for inspecting electrically conducting parts ( ) of the invention comprises a row of transmitter and receiver coils ( ), ( ) that form an array of energized coils. The receiver coils ( ) are influenced by different magnetic fields created by several neighboring transmitter coils ( ) at the same time, making them sensitive to different types of flaws. The array of energized coils is displaced along the row. The probes are usually used for inspecting steam generator tubes of nuclear power plants.
