Abstract
A method of improving the solubility of a defoaming non-ionic compound in an alkaline aqueous medium includes adding to the aqueous medium a defoaming compound an effective quantity of a compound having the formula: ROZ in which R represents a 2-ethyl hexyl radical, Z is a sugar residue, and n is between 1.1 and 2.
