Abstract
A heat regenerative material including AMz, where A is at least one rare earth element selected from the group consisting of Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb; M is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Ni and Co; and z is 0.001 to 9.0; the heat regenerative material being formed of particles with an average diameter of 1-2,000 &mgr;m or filaments with an average diameter of 1-2,000 &mgr;m.
