Abstract
A device, a system and method for storing connection data transmitted by a telephone exchange ( ) in an agent unit ( ), where the agent unit is part of a subordinate means in a supervising system. A superordinate supervising means ( ) is formed of one or more computers with the task of collecting data from one or more telephone exchanges, which they contact over some data network ( ) via the agent unit ( ). The connection data is transmitted by the exchange unit and stored in the reserved memory area (the buffer) ( ) in the agent unit ( ) and can be emptied and collected by the superordinate supervising means ( ) through a normal file transfer process over said data network ( ).
