Abstract
A self-standing container comprises a tubular main body and a bottom-forming sheet. The main body has upper and lower end portions, which are opened. The bottom-forming sheet is joined to the periphery of the lower end portion by a fusion-bonding so as to form a self-standing container having a flat bottom. Each of the main body and the bottom-forming sheet comprises a laminate film having at least two layers. Each of the at least two layers has a thickness of from 20 &mgr;m to 120 &mgr;m.
